What is feature flag testing?
Feature flag testing checks that features behave correctly in every flag state they can be released in.
Feature flags let teams ship code switched off and turn it on gradually. Each flag doubles the number of possible states, so testing has to cover the on and off paths and any combinations that matter.
Teams typically test critical journeys in both states and clean up old flags so the number of combinations stays manageable.
